A court has decided to send to prison, without the possibility of bail, a woman who was under investigation for various serious crimes: animal abuse, fraud, and document forgery. This person had already been arrested earlier in the year and, as a precautionary measure, was prohibited from any activity related to animals, but she ignored it and continued with her illegal activity, which led to her new arrest in June.

According to the judge, the woman not only ignored judicial orders but also continued illegally selling pets, posing as different associations and animal shelters on social networks, even changing her name to try not to be discovered. Many people, believing they were helping the animals, gave her money for alleged veterinary expenses and even traveled long distances to pick up the animals, but in reality, they were deceived.

The judicial order highlights that, although the investigated woman presented herself as an animal advocate, she was actually only seeking profit, as the animals were in very poor conditions, without hygiene or care, and some even died shortly after being delivered. The judge considers that the only way to stop this behavior is with a harsher measure, such as prison, since the investigated person has shown a lack of respect for rules and judicial decisions.
